Rogé Nesbitt

Rogé Nesbitt came to Bard in early 2019 as an assistant coach, and was named Head Coach of both the Men's and Women's Tennis programs in July of the same year.

Prior to arriving in Annandale, Nesbitt was the Head Women's Tennis Coach at Div. I Marist College from 2007-13. She led the Red Foxes to four Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships and was the MAAC Coach of the Year in 2011.

Previous to her success at Marist, Nesbitt was the boys and girls tennis coach at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in nearby Poughkeepsie, earning Poughkeepsie Journal Coach of the Year honors once.

She played collegiately at Cedarville University. Nesbitt was Cedarville's number one singles player in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons, and was named team captain for her senior campaign in 1988. In 1985 she was named NAIA District XXII Rookie of the Year, before being named the Region's Outstanding Senior in 1988. As a sophomore in 1986, Nesbitt competed in the NAIA National Championships in both singles and doubles. She also earned NAIA All-District Team honors three times in singles and doubles in her career.
She graduated from Cedarville with a B.A. in Elementary Education in 1988.
